This type of reinforcement depends on the depth of the construction excavation, which in turn depends on the building’s loads and can reach depths of up to 12 meters.
The excavated site must be reinforced, and the appropriate type of reinforcement is determined according to the soil type, whether rocky or loamy.
Construction excavations are supported in one of the following ways:
Reinforcement with concrete retaining walls, sometimes using metal anchors or deep rock bolts.
Reinforcement with H-beams and wooden ties.
Reinforcement with metal piles.
Reinforcement with cylindrical concrete piles of various types.
