Rock stabilization work using rock nails

This method involves drilling holes with diameters ranging from 40 to 64 mm, and a depth not exceeding 12 meters.

The distance between the holes is between 1.5 and 2.5 meters, or as determined by the specialized geological engineer.

Then, rock anchor bolts are driven into the rock, at lengths specified by the geological engineer.

After curing, the concrete is injected with a shrinkage-resistant grout.

This is done using a small-scale mechanical injection system with specialized machinery capable of mixing and pumping the material into the hole, so that the rock anchor bolts become an integral part of the rock.

To ensure the quality of the work, a stress test is performed on a selection of rock anchor bolts by the specialized geological engineer to guarantee their stability and bond with the rock surface.

The tensile strength of each bolt must not be less than 220 kN.
